Lab Testing Available Through Quest Diagnostics
Patients do not need to guess which labs to order. If lab work is needed, our team can send you for testing at any Quest Diagnostics location in Las Vegas.

Common labs may include:
CBC
Ferritin
Serum Iron
TIBC
Transferrin Saturation
B12 and Folate when appropriate
For many patients, labs help confirm iron status, guide dosing, and determine whether additional treatment is appropriate.

100 mg Iron Infusion Option
A 100 mg iron sucrose infusion may be available without recent labs for patients who have symptoms and a history consistent with low iron, such as prior low ferritin, previous iron deficiency, poor tolerance of oral iron, heavy menstrual cycles, fatigue, dizziness, or similar concerns.
This option still requires a health history review, intake screening, and clinical approval before treatment. If our team determines that labs are needed first, we can refer you to Quest Diagnostics before proceeding.

200 mg Iron Infusion Option
A 200 mg iron sucrose infusion requires recent lab review before treatment. This helps confirm that a higher-dose treatment is appropriate and reduces the risk of giving iron when it is not needed.
Recent labs may include CBC, ferritin, serum iron, TIBC, and transferrin saturation.

What Type of Iron Do We Use?
Many patients ask for Venofer® because that is the name they recognize from a doctor, hospital, or previous infusion center. Venofer® is the brand name for iron sucrose injection, an IV iron replacement product.
Our clinic uses iron sucrose for eligible patients when medically appropriate. We clearly explain what you are receiving before treatment so patients understand the medication, dose, and safety process.
