Considering IV Therapy for Wellness? Six Questions to Ask First

Before booking an IV for wellness, ask what decision the treatment is meant to address. A clear explanation of the goal, ingredients, alternatives, and risks is more useful than a broad promise to boost health.

These six questions can help you prepare for a conversation with the clinical team at IV Vitamin Therapy Clinic in Las Vegas—or evaluate information you see when comparing providers.

1. What is the proposed goal for me?

Explain why you are considering an infusion and describe any symptoms, including their duration and severity. Ask what improvement is realistic and what evidence supports that expectation.

Do not assume that a nutrient's role in energy metabolism proves that an infusion will resolve fatigue. Persistent or unexplained symptoms may need assessment before treatment is considered. A clinical review can also identify when a different level of care is appropriate.

2. Who reviews eligibility and administers treatment?

Ask how your medical history is reviewed and who makes the treatment decision. Disclose medications, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, and prior infusion reactions. A treatment request is not automatic approval.

At our clinic, licensed nurses or medical practitioners administer and monitor infusions. Ask what monitoring is included and how concerns will be handled during the appointment.

3. What is actually in the bag?

Request the ingredients, doses, and fluid volume for the specific formulation. Basic saline hydration, vitamin-containing infusions, and specialty services are different choices. A longer list of ingredients is not automatically better.

Review current service descriptions and ask about anything you do not recognize. The selected formulation and rate should be appropriate for your medical history rather than chosen solely from a treatment's promotional name.

4. Where and how is the infusion prepared?

Ask whether preparation occurs before the appointment and whether bags are mixed at the treatment location. Our infusions are prepared in the clinic's sterile laboratory. For approved mobile visits, bags are prepared before dispatch; we do not mix them at the bedside.

Preparation is one part of care. Screening, administration, monitoring, and follow-up also matter. An IV can cause irritation, bruising, infection, or reactions; no preparation method makes an invasive procedure risk-free.

5. What is the full price and what am I agreeing to?

Ask for the selected infusion price and any separate fees. Our mobile visits add one $100 dispatch fee per visit. Groups of 5 or more receive 10% off infusion prices; groups of 10 or more receive 15% off. Confirm the final quote before treatment.

If considering a package or membership, review its commitment, cancellation terms, and credit validity separately. A payment plan does not establish that repeated treatment is clinically necessary. We are private pay and do not accept insurance.

6. What should I expect afterward?

Ask about aftercare, whom to contact with concerns, and which symptoms require urgent attention. Discuss how you will decide whether the treatment was useful, rather than assuming that routine repeat visits are necessary.

Follow the instructions provided for your appointment. Do not delay urgent care for severe or worsening symptoms because you have an elective infusion scheduled. For a medical emergency, call 911.

Discuss an appointment at our Las Vegas clinic

IV Vitamin Therapy Clinic has served Las Vegas since 2015. Our clinic is at 3790 Paradise Road, Suite 140, near the Sphere and Wynn. Call or text 702-966-2440 to discuss a service or request an approved mobile visit to a hotel, home, office, or private event.

We do not provide emergency or pediatric services. The right next step may be an appointment, further assessment, or another treatment approach; the clinical conversation should establish that before an infusion is given.
