ABOUT IV VITAMIN C IV administration bypasses digestive absorption and can produce higher blood concentrations than oral Vitamin C. Vitamin C supports antioxidant activity, collagen production, normal immune function, and general wellness. Results vary. SCREENING AND DOSING All patients begin with 7,000 mg before being considered for a higher dose. A licensed practitioner reviews health history, laboratory results, tolerance, and suitability before approving treatment or increasing the dose. Higher doses may require G6PD and kidney-function testing. Patients with G6PD deficiency, kidney disease, impaired kidney function, or certain other conditions may not qualify.
