High-dose IV vitamin C deserves a serious clinical conversation. At IV Vitamin Therapy Clinic, that conversation draws on more than 11 years of IV care in Las Vegas. Established in 2015, our clinic brings together non-corn-based vitamin C, sterile laboratory preparation, licensed nurses and medical practitioners, and individualized dosing.

Our clinic near the Sphere and Wynn follows the Riordan IVC protocol, with screening and treatment decisions tailored to each patient. For people exploring vitamin C’s potential, understanding the science is part of the care we provide.

Vitamin C’s benefits begin with essential biology

Vitamin C helps the body produce collagen, which supports skin, blood vessels, and connective tissue. It also participates in normal immune function and acts as an antioxidant. The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements describes these established nutritional roles.[1]

These functions explain why vitamin C matters to repair, cellular protection, and everyday well-being. Correcting a demonstrated deficiency can address deficiency-related problems, including fatigue and connective-tissue changes. The right plan depends on whether the goal is nutritional replenishment or a separate clinical use.

Adequate vitamin C is essential; proof that a particular high-dose infusion improves skin appearance, prevents infection, or speeds recovery in a well-nourished person requires separate clinical evidence. We help patients understand that distinction while exploring the possibilities relevant to them.

Why high-dose IV vitamin C is scientifically different

IV delivery bypasses intestinal absorption and can reach blood concentrations that oral dosing cannot reproduce. In a foundational 2004 human pharmacokinetic study, Padayatty and colleagues demonstrated substantially higher peak concentrations with IV administration than with oral dosing.[4]

That measurable difference opens a new research question: what can vitamin C do at these concentrations? It supports studying high-dose IV therapy as a distinct intervention. A higher concentration alone does not establish a better outcome; the patient population and clinical goal matter.

What human studies tell us about its potential

Fatigue: A 2012 randomized, placebo-controlled trial involving 141 office workers compared one 10-gram vitamin C infusion with saline. Self-reported fatigue was lower after vitamin C at two hours and one day. A subgroup analysis found benefit in participants with lower baseline vitamin C, but not the higher-baseline group. This is an encouraging short-term signal, rather than proof of lasting energy gains or treatment for unexplained chronic fatigue.[5]

Inflammation: Riordan Clinic researchers analyzed 45 patients with cancer receiving IV vitamin C after conventional treatment. They reported decreases in inflammatory markers in many patients. This observational study supports further investigation; without a randomized control group, it cannot establish that vitamin C caused the changes or that the findings apply to other conditions.[6]

Supportive oncology: In a small randomized trial published in 2024, 36 people with metastatic pancreatic cancer were randomized and 34 received treatment. Adding IV vitamin C to a specific chemotherapy regimen was associated with longer survival. NCI also summarizes a separate 2024 prostate-cancer trial that did not find improved clinical outcomes.[3,7]

These findings give researchers worthwhile questions to pursue. They do not establish a universal wellness benefit or cancer cure. IV vitamin C is not FDA-approved to treat cancer, and people receiving cancer therapy should coordinate any proposed infusion with their oncology team.[2,3]

High-dose vitamin C care built around you in Las Vegas

Our high-dose vitamin C service offers non-corn-based vitamin C with magnesium, with options ranging from 7 to 75 grams. The clinical team determines the appropriate dose. Treatment may begin at a lower dose, with later adjustment based on your history, tolerance, and clinical goals.

Preparation for treatment includes relevant screening and a review of medications, kidney history, G6PD status, and iron-overload conditions. NCI identifies these as important considerations for high-dose IV vitamin C.[2] Bring your medication and supplement list and relevant test results so the discussion can be specific to you.

Every infusion is prepared in our sterile laboratory and administered by a licensed nurse or medical practitioner. For mobile appointments, preparation takes place before dispatch, with no bedside mixing. We confirm which vitamin C protocols and settings are appropriate for each patient.

More than a decade of care. A personal next step.

Our Las Vegas clinic is at 3790 Paradise Road, Suite 140, near the Sphere and Wynn. Residents and visitors can discuss high-dose vitamin C options with a team whose local history reaches back to 2015. If you prefer care at your hotel or home, ask about Mobile IV availability and suitability.

Tell us what you hope to address. Ask what evidence applies to that goal and how a response would be assessed. Call 702-966-2440 to discuss an assessment. Our purpose is to make a complex subject understandable and help you consider an informed, individual plan.
