Looking for B12 shots or a vitamin IV in Las Vegas? IV Vitamin Therapy Clinic offers methylcobalamin B12 as an injection or IV add-on, along with multi-nutrient infusions such as Myers Cocktail. The right starting point is a conversation about your energy, medical history, and what you want from care.

Since 2015, our dedicated IV practice has brought together an on-site laboratory, licensed nurses and medical practitioners, and a broad infusion menu. Local residents and visitors can explore their options with a team whose daily work centers on infusion care. Here is how B12, testing, and treatment choices fit together.

Can vitamin B12 help with low energy?

B12 helps the body maintain healthy blood and nerve cells and make DNA. When B12 deficiency causes tiredness or weakness, correcting that deficiency can address an underlying contributor. The NIH vitamin B12 guide explains these roles and symptoms.

The same NIH guide makes an important distinction: extra B12 does not improve energy or endurance in people already getting enough. The value lies in matching care to a need. B12’s role in normal biology does not establish that an elective IV blend will improve energy for everyone.

Why can B12 run low even when you eat well?

Intake and absorption are different questions. People following vegan or vegetarian diets, those with certain digestive conditions or previous gastrointestinal surgery, and older adults may have a higher risk of inadequate B12. Metformin and medicines that reduce stomach acid can also affect B12 status, according to the NIH professional fact sheet.

Bring your medication and supplement list, along with details about your diet and past treatment. Keep taking prescribed medicines unless your prescriber advises otherwise. Understanding why a level is low helps shape a useful plan for replacement and follow-up.

What should you bring to a B12 conversation?

Bring any recent bloodwork and describe when the tiredness started, whether it is constant, and what else has changed. A serum B12 test is often a starting point. In some circumstances, a clinician may use methylmalonic acid, or MMA, to help clarify the result. MedlinePlus explains MMA testing: higher levels can be a clue that the body lacks B12.

Results need interpretation. Laboratory ranges vary, and kidney function can affect MMA. Your clinician can put the numbers alongside your history. Fatigue may also relate to sleep, anemia, thyroid conditions, medicines, or other causes; MedlinePlus recommends evaluation when it lasts for weeks. New numbness or tingling also merits attention. A clear explanation of your symptoms is more useful than choosing a treatment by its name.

If your bloodwork instead identifies low iron, our iron infusion guide explains that separate treatment conversation. Different findings call for different care plans.

B12 shot, IV add-on, or Myers Cocktail: what is the difference?

Our Add-Ons & Booster Shots page lists methylcobalamin B12 as an intramuscular shot or IV add-on. A B12 shot provides a specific nutrient; an add-on includes that nutrient within an approved infusion. Ask our team which option, if any, fits your circumstances.

Our Myers Cocktail combines B vitamins, including B12, with vitamin C and magnesium. It is a multi-ingredient infusion, so the clinical conversation considers the whole formulation, fluid volume, and your medical history.

A confirmed B12 deficiency does not automatically require an IV. NIH describes injections and, in appropriate circumstances, oral replacement. Your practitioner should select the route and follow-up plan. An elective infusion should complement an appropriate care plan rather than replace an evaluation of persistent symptoms.

Personal attention, backed by an established Las Vegas clinic

Good care includes knowing what you are receiving and why. Ask about the ingredients, intended purpose, expected appointment length, and how any identified deficiency will be reassessed. Our team reviews medical history, medications, and treatment eligibility before care, with licensed clinical professionals administering and monitoring approved infusions.

For eligible Mobile IV appointments, we prepare infusions in our clinic’s sterile laboratory before dispatch; bags are never mixed at the bedside. Learn how our laboratory supports mobile visits. Our nurses and medical practitioners bring appointments to eligible Las Vegas hotels, homes, and private locations, with availability and access confirmed in advance.

If you are arranging care with colleagues or friends, Group Bookings offers coordinated scheduling while each person keeps an individual clinical review and treatment choice.
